McLean, Va. – Advanced Information Services Inc. (AIS) Federal Services Group, headquartered in McLean, Va., is pleased to announce the recent award of a $12.5 million contract to provide uninterrupted Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Engineering and Software Development Services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center Charleston (SSCC).
One of the more significant awards in AIS' 20-year history, this contract covers the software engineering and technical support of various existing and future C4ISR systems and associated interface systems, subsystems, equipment, and software in accordance with industry standards such as IEEE/EIA 12207, CMMI, the Joint Technical Architecture, or the applicable Task Order. Work on this contract, which includes a base year and four option years, will be performed in Charleston, S.C. and other locations through April 2011.
