Managing Technical People for Project Managers

If managers always treat all of their people the same way, they will be wrong at least some of the time. To become a good manager, we need to manage ourselves well first. Among the many factors that can improve professional performance are self-confidence, skill, and respect. The complexity of professional performance comes from the inherent complexity of the professionals themselves – that is, from human nature. There is no single formula for achieving superior results.

Project managers will learn
  • To understand the importance of self-awareness and the need to take charge of their development
  • To create their own self-development plan
  • To understand the various factors for motivating and developing professionals to create high achievers
  • To practice situational leadership
  • To implement teamwork concepts
The topics covered will include
  • Managing Yourself
  • The Manager as a Leader
  • Motivating and Developing Professionals
  • Teamwork
Duration: 2 days
