ABOUT AIS

Advanced Information Services (AIS), founded in 1986, has two primary purposes: advance the boundaries of quality and exceed customer expectations. Today, AIS has matured to become a team of software professionals who use continuously optimized processes and appropriate technologies to meet its customer needs with the following services and products:
  1. Software Development
Produce high quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  2. Process Consulting and Training
Provide process improvement consulting and training by practitioners at the individual, team and organization level.
  3. Consulting
    Provide customer-oriented, technically-proficient, process-trained individuals.
  4. Process Support Products
Develop and offer products that provide process support to individuals, teams and organizations.
AIS uses continuously optimized processes and appropriate technologies to meet our customers' needs. AIS process capability has been assessed at a Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Maturity Level 5.

AIS Principles

Quality doesn't just happen. It can't be an afterthought, an add on. Quality must be built into the software product and must be the primary goal throughout the development process. At AIS, people are more than concerned about quality: they are committed to it. This commitment, which has earned recognition from our peers, is based on the following principles:
  • Each work product is delivered on time with the highest quality possible through planning, implementation, tracking and auditing - instead of "added-on quality" through a testing and debugging cycle.
  • Reviews and audits ensure honest, disciplined performance.
  • People make decisions about their work by utilizing data.
  • Continuous improvement using the Personal Software ProcessSM (PSPSM) enables AIS individuals and teams to improve productivity.
